David Pollack
A follower of Christ, husband and dad of two.
David, who was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and raised in Snellville, Georgia, now resides in the Greater Athens area with his wife Lindsey and their kids, Nicholas and Leah.
As a defensive end at the University of Georgia, David was just the third Bulldog to be named a three-time All-American (Herschel Walker and Brock Bowers). David’s collegiate accolades include the 2002 SEC Player of the Year honors, the 2003 and 2004 Ted Hendricks Award, and, in 2004, the Chuck Bednarik Award, Lombardi Award, Lott Trophy and SEC Defensive Player of the Year. David’s 36 sacks for the Bulldogs remain a school record.
In the 2005 NFL Draft, David was a first-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals selected 17th overall. David's NFL career was cut short after he broke a cervical vertebra versus the Cleveland Browns in the second game of his second season. Prior to the 2008 season the Cincinnati Bengals announced Pollack’s retirement.
In 2008, David transitioned to the field of sports broadcasting, where he co-hosted a sports talk radio show on 790 The Zone in Atlanta. In 2009, David joined ESPN, where he excelled for thirteen years, contributing his college football knowledge to several of the network’s programs, including College GameDay, as well as College Football Live, SportsCenter and ESPN's Bowl and College Football Playoffs and National Championship coverage.
David and his wife along with their two children launched The Pollack Family Foundation in 2016, with a current focus on Faith. Family. Community.
In 2020, David was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
David along with his pastor, launched the Family Goals Podcast in 2021 with a focus on Faith. Family. and Sports.
In 2022, David was inducted into the Georgia High School Football Hall of Fame’s inaugural class.
In 2024, David launched his podcast and YouTube channel See Ball Get Ball with Brent Rollins focusing on college football.
David enjoys speaking to groups about his faith, overcoming adversity, leadership and motivation.
Lindsey Pollack
Lindsey Pollack knows her priorities. As wife to David and mother of two, she is devoted to their family. Her priority list is God, David, the children, family, friends, and community. Lindsey was born and raised in Gwinnett County. She was very active in athletics while at Parkview High School. As a H.S. sophomore she met and began dating David, who was a senior at Shiloh at the time. She attended The University of Georgia then transferred to University of Cincinnati where she achieved her degree in Education.
She has taught school and worked as a personal trainer, but her real passion has been in developing the work of the Pollack Family Foundation. Founded in 2008, the Pollack Family focused on childhood obesity but was re-branded in 2016 and relaunched to focus on faith, family & community. With verses 1 John 3:16-18 as inspiration, she leads the execution of 'empowering families’ by providing for basic needs and fundamental care as they invest in opportunities to encourage 'Faith. Family. Community.' throughout the Athens, Georgia community and the Greater Atlanta area.
As a mother, friend, philanthropist, evangelist and cancer survivor, Lindsey has broadly influenced and inspired women and men alike.
The Real Estate Prayer Breakfast team is extremely excited to welcome this duo to the 2026 Breakfast.
